I’ve been using the Hellmann’s mayo in mince meat trick for quite a while, and it really makes burgers so much juicier. You can use this mayo trick with any kind of burger mixture, but my recipe for the spicy Asian burgers is below. It’s also another super easy recipe that requires no prep aside from just getting the ingredients! Enjoy!

Halal Fried Chicken List
Looking for the best halal fried chicken in London? This list highlights the best spots to get your fried chicken fix!
Honest Burgers
I love finding out which of the best non-halal joints actually do serve halal food. When I found out honest burgers have 2 halal sites (their Tooting & Baker Street branches) I was so eager to try it, especially as I know how popular this joint is to non-Muslims. These halal branches of honest burgers serve halal chicken only (no halal beef), and it’s all handled & cooked separately. All their sides are also gluten free and any of their burgers can be made to be gluten free too!
Keep up to date with them through their website and instagram.
Drunch Regent’s Park
The second branch of the infamous Drunch opened in Regent’s Park, and serves halal dishes, from burgers to Italian burrata. We loved the atmosphere & decor of the place, as well as the fine dining experience. This branch is more spacious than the other, and has a different menu (however both still have their famous Drunch Cheesecake!).

Gourmet Republik
Gourmet Republik is a new burger joint that opened up before Ramadan, specializing in wagyu, angus and chicken burgers! They also serve grilled chicken and other sides, including some amazing hot wings.

Tabun Kitchen
Tabun Kitchen is one of London’s only places to eat authentic and Halal Palestinian cuisine. Their name comes from the Tabun Oven which has been a staple of Palestinian Cooking for many years. They offer a range of delicious dishes based on traditional dishes, all with new twists however!
We love their core message, as well as their food. Definitely give this place a try! P.S. a voluntary £1.00 per table will be added to your bill for the Galilee Foundation, which helps to educate Palestinians in Israel!

The Famous Flames
From Bea Vo, who founded Stax and Boondocks comes another USA style restaurant right next to Camden Town called The Famous Flames! This is a Stax sized restaurant i.e. limited seating but the food is great to take away also.
Tempus Gourmet Garden
Tempus Gourmet Garden in Bethnal Green has recently reopened after a year of renovation. Since their reopening they have put a focus on serving great food, and overall this has really come across. We were initially skeptical abut how the food would be as this establishment previously had a reputation for being a shisha place, but we would definitely come back as the food, service and atmosphere were all on point!
Follow them here on instagram and facebook to keep updated of any offers they have. Also, special shout out to their delicious homemade signature red chilli sauce, which they have in bottles on every table- so yummy it had to get a mention.
